St. John’s Worship Ministry

The Worship Ministry’s goal is to provide an enriched, spiritually nourishing worship experience, bringing people closer to God.

The parish survey conducted as a part of the Rector Search Process reconfirmed that worshipping is the heart of why we come to St. John’s.  Through our worship, we seek a greater knowledge of God’s love and our responsibility to share that love with others.  Our services at St. John’s are eucharistically centered with recognition of the sacred presence of God in our personal lives and in the larger world.

Parishioners have many opportunities to support the Worship Ministry such as serving on the Altar Guild; participation in services as a Lay Reader or Lay Eucharistic Minister; Ushers; Greeters; and coordination and participation in the Lenten supper programs or the annual St. John’s retreat at Shrine Mont.
