Wedding Ministry
All weddings at St. John's are according to the Book of Common Prayer of the Episcopal Church and in accordance with the canons of the Church.

We would be pleased to have a conversation with you about your proposed wedding.
Basic expectations include attendance at Church services, a daylong pre-marital seminar at the Virginia Institute for Pastoral Care and three or four sessions with the Celebrant of the wedding (usually the Rector).

If possible, initial contact should be made at least six months in advance. Couples planning their wedding at St. John's will work with the Rector, the Organist, and one of the parish's Wedding Coordinators, Lynn Anderson or Laura McBride.
