President Washington will talk about his life as Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Army and as the first President of the United States of America. Cake and refreshments will be served in the Visitor Center between presentations. A self-guided scavenger hunt in the graveyard will explore the facts and myths that surround President Washington.

This event is co-sponsored by a number of historic sites in and near downtown Richmond, including St. John's Church, the Valentine Richmond History Center, the Medical College of Virginia, the Museum of the Confederacy, etc. Each site will offer special programming according to their schedule. St. John's Church programming will include a public reenactment as well as costumed docents giving informal tours in the church.
